Saturday, October 14 / 9a - 12p

Join ESF members for a guided kayaking trip led by our Stewardship Director, Dash Dunkell. Dash is a seasoned naturalist, and will share information on the native flora and fauna we encounter, as well as the latest habitat restoration projects taking place at Elkhorn Slough.

Registering in advance is mandatory, and is reserved to ESF members. If you're not yet a member, please be sure to sign up during the ticket registration process. If you're uncertain about your membership status, please e-mail juan@elkhornslough.org with your full name and mailing address.

Our meeting location will be included with your registration confirmation email. Registered attendees should plan to arrive at 9:00 am for check-in and to suit up. At 9:30 we will begin orientation, and the kayaking trip will begin promptly after. The kayak shop we're partnering with will provide double kayaks, life vests, backrests, paddles, and optional splash jackets and pants.

Attendance for this event will be capped, and we expect that capacity will be reached. Minors 18 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and must be registered in advance. All children aged 5-12 must be in a double kayak with their parent or legal guardian. The maximum weight per person is 250lbs.

We ask that you do not attend this event if you are experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms, including: fever or chills; cough; shortness of breath or difficulty breathing; fatigue; muscle or body aches; headache; new loss of taste or smell; sore throat; congestion or runny nose; nausea or vomiting; diarrhea.

If you need to cancel your reservation, please be mindful that you will be charged Eventbrite's return fees. Please e-mail juan@elkhornslough.org if you have any questions or concerns.
