Today, Elkhorn Slough Foundation owns or manages more than 3,500 acres of land in the Elkhorn Slough watershed. These lands are critical to the long-term health of the entire Elkhorn Slough ecosystem. For a relatively small investment today, we will be able to protect the lands in and around the Central Coast’s premiere estuary.
Please join this effort and become a member of Elkhorn Slough Foundation.

In addition to the satisfaction of taking part in a grassroots effort to protect and restore an important environmental resource, our members enjoy:
Stewardship Circle
Those who contribute $1,000 or more each year to Elkhorn Slough Foundation become members of the Stewardship Circle, and are invited to numerous exclusive events during the year, including an annual appreciation reception.
Land Partners
Those who contribute $10,000 or more each year to Elkhorn Slough Foundation become Land Partners—and play a major role in protecting Elkhorn Slough. They enjoy the privileges of the Stewardship Circle as well as private tours of ESF lands.
Legacy Circle
It’s hard to imagine a greater legacy than the land. Elkhorn Slough Foundation has promised to care for thousands of acres on the Central California Coast. To assure this perpetual protection, our Board of Directors has established a permanent endowment. By including the Elkhorn
Slough Foundation in your will or estate plan, you are helping leave a legacy for future generations. Through your will or revocable living trust, you can specify that a portion of your assets come to us after your lifetime, and your estate can take a charitable deduction for the amount of your bequest.
