Draft Horses for Hire

Recently ESF hired Santa Cruz-based Draft Horses for Hire to mow, rake and bale the California meadow barley on our Boy Scout property in Moss Landing. The resulting 150 bales of native barley removed this year was double that of last year. Removal of the thatch has helped boost populations of rare wildflowers.
