Fall Kayak Tour
10/1/07

Thirteen hearty souls braved stiff breezes and an outgoing current as we headed from Kirby Park to Hudson’s Landing on Saturday afternoon, September 15. Due to the aforementioned conditions and time constraints, we never made our destination, but we had a great time trying!

Special thanks to Jim Van Houten and Ron Eby for sharing the history of the upper slough, the impact of Elkhorn Slough Foundation's successful stewardship on the health of the slough, and current research projects underway in the waterway.
