
(MOSS LANDING, CA) -- In partnership with the California Coastal Conservancy and The David and Lucile Packard Foundation, the Elkhorn Slough Foundation is pleased to announce the transfer of a 5-acre beach parcel to the California State Parks. This beach parcel is immediately adjacent to Salinas River State Beach in Moss Landing. The transfer ceremony will take place on August 25, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. This pristine rare dune habitat will be an addition to the current Salinas River State Beach, which can be enjoyed by the general public.
